What's New?
The all-new Jeep Gladiator has had a few cosmetic changes for 2023. Moreover, it has come with some new features and packages. The Jeep Wave owner loyalty program is finally coming to the Gladiator with several perks. A new capability package trim for high altitudes is now available. The Willys trim will now include several features as standard and a brand new exterior colour named High Velocity that’ll replace the Snazzberry colour.
Engine Specifications & Fuel Economy
The standard engine is a 3.6L V6 gasoline engine with 285 hp and 260 lb-ft and a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. This engine has a combined fuel efficiency (city and highway) of 12.6L/100km.
An Optional 3.0L V6 diesel engine with 260 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque with only an eight-speed automatic transmission. This engine's combined fuel efficiency (city and highway) is 9.8L/100 km.
Infotainment System & Technology
The 2023 Jeep Gladiator Uconnect 4 system is used for hands-free phone and Wi-Fi hotspot access. This also includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and SiriusXM Guardian. The Jeep Gladiator also comes with two standard touchscreen sizes: a 17.78cm screen for the Sport S and Willys, and a 21.34cm standard for the Overland, Mojave, Rubicon, and High Altitude trims.
The SiriusXM Guardian feature allows Jeep Gladiator owners to start the vehicle and unlock doors remotely with the app and request roadside assistance when needed.
Features
The Jeep Wave owner loyalty program includes several exciting perks. These include up to six oil changes and tire rotations, dedicated call center support, trip interruption, and first-day rental for three years at no additional cost.
The new capability package trims are mainly for high altitudes, and will include winch capable steel front bumper, steel rock rails, and a front off-road camera for the ultimate off-roading capabilities.
The Willys trim includes proximity keyless entry, a 17.78cm gauge cluster, remote start, and a garage opener.
Trims and Pricing
The 2023 model year comes with several trims, all with either the 3.6L V6 gasoline engine or the 3.0L V6 diesel engine. The base trim is the Sport S, with a starting price of $53,990. Then we have the Willys, starting at $58,985 and includes a few extra features over the base Sport S.
The third trim, Overland, starts at $61,090. This trim and the ones above include a 21.34cm touch screen, an Alpine sound system, and remote proximity entry as standard. The Rubicon includes 83.82cm tires, front and rear performance shock absorbers, a Rock-Trac heavy-duty 4x4 system, and Tru-Lok front and rear axles. It starts at $62,690, and the Mojave comes at the same price.
High Altitude is the final trim for extreme off-roading in rough terrain. It’s desert rated and comes at $70,980.
