Performance and Engine Configurations

All SUVs come standard with a 3.6L V6 Pentastar engine. This engine produces 293 horsepower at 6,400rpm and 260 pound-feet of torque at 4,000rpm. Grand Cherokee can also be purchased in the 4xe trims. All 4xe trims have a 2.0L hybrid engine that delivers 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque.

If you prefer more power, both the Summit and Overland Grand Cherokee and L SUVs with the 5.4L v8 engine are available. V6 configurations are available in two-wheel drive or can be upgraded to a four-wheel-drive system. V8 configurations are available only in four-wheel drive. Both V6 engines have a fuel economy of approximately 8km/L (city) and 11km/L (highway). Fuel consumption will increase, upgrading to the four-wheel drivetrain.
