Under the Hood: 2021 Jeep Gladiator Specs
The standard Gladiator powertrain is built around a 3.6L V6 gas engine making a gutsy 286 horsepower and 260lb-ft of torque. The output meets the pavement through all-wheel drive, after passing through your choice of either a six-speed manual gearbox or an eight-speed automatic transmission.
And while this configuration provides plenty of power and performance, the best off-road experience is perhaps provided by the brand-new 3.0L V6 turbodiesel engine. This option puts out an impressive 442lb-ft of torque, perfectly suited to clambering over rocks, steep gradients, and other challenging surfaces.
